If you haven’t been keeping tabs, Sprint was supposed to be the first of the four major carriers to launch the Samsung Galaxy S4 here in the United States. However, in a statement the third place wireless carrier made today, the expected in-store launch date of April 27th has been delayed. The company gave no word as to when eager Galaxy fans could get their hands on Samsung’s iconic device, but I don’t think it will be too long before they do. Here is their statement in their words:
We had planned to launch this next generation of the award-winning Samsung Galaxy line-up on Saturday, April 27…. Unfortunately, due to unexpected inventory challenges from Samsung, we will be slightly delayed with our full product launch.
Pretty unfortunate news, I know. But on the flip side, the unlimited carrier will still be offering the Galaxy S4 online and via phone sales this coming Saturday (the 27th of April). Of course, you won’t be able to have the device in your hands that same day, but maybe putting down just a little bit of money will help give you enough peace of mind to hold you off. And if that’s not enough, be sure to stay tuned to our site and YouTube channel as we’ll be bringing you loads of SGS4 content over the next couple of days.
