Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Hardware Overview

We were invited out to the Galaxy Note 2 event in New York City by Samsung and were lucky enough to get some hands on time with the Note 2 before it officially launched. The hardware overview below was shot in YouTube’s Pop Up Studio, so it’s very brief but still gives you a good 360 look at the device for those of you who are unfamiliar with it:

First impressions on the Note 2 were that it was easier to hold in the hand than the original, thanks to it being both thinner and having a more ergonomic design. We also noticed that the screen seemed a little sharper than the S3’s despite its lower PPI. We were told that this was because the screen wasn’t using the shared sub-pixel (PenTile) layout that the S3 does. We could go on and on about the phablet here, but we’ll save it for the review and comparisons.
