How To Enable Fast Boot On HTC One X and One S

How To Enable Fast Boot On HTC One X and One S

I’ve done a couple of speed comparison tests with the HTC One S in the past, and in all the boot up portions of those tests the 1.5 GHz dual-core S4 packing HTC lost by a pretty big margin. No idea why this is, when in all other tests the Snapdragon S4 seems to outperform the competition. Anyways, HTC has a solution to this slow boot up problem (thankfully) which is called fast boot. This option lets you boot up about 4x as fast. Here’s how you enable it:

  1. Go to your phone’s main Settings.
  2. Go to Power.
  3. Check the box next to Fast Boot to enable the feature.

Didn’t seem any faster to me.

That’s weird.. Did you already have it enabled? I only ask because I tried it on both the One S and One X and it made both phones so much faster at booting.. Oh, btw, how long does your boot up take anyway (in seconds)?
