How To Enable LED Notifications On The iPhone

0

One of the biggest drawbacks of the iPhone is the fact that it doesn’t have LED notifications like a lot of Android phones do. Well, all that will changed (sort of) with iOS 5. With this latest version of iOS, you can make it so your iPhone’s LED flash (the flashlight on the back next to the camera) flashes when you receive a call or text message. This is how you enable the feature:

  1. Go to your iPhone’s main Settings.
  2. Go to the General tab.
  3. Scroll down to Accessibility and tap on it.
  4. Scroll to where it says “LED Flash for Alerts” and flip the switch on.

Once you do this, the LED on the back of the phone will flash every time you get an incoming call or SMS text message. Oh, and by the way, this only works when the screen is off. So don’t get frustrated if it doesn’t work when you test it =).
