LG LS970 Eclipse Rumored To Have 1.5 GHz Krait Quad Core, 2 GB Of RAM

The folks over at Brief Mobile have received some news, or better stated rumors, of an upcoming Sprint device from LG that will probably be called the LG Eclipse 4G LTE. The phone is rumored to be rocking the 1.5 GHz Krait quad-core processor by Qualcomm, which sports the Adreno 320 GPU. But that’s not all. The rumored smartphone will allegedly come with 2 GB of RAM just like the recently announced LG Optimus LTE2.

Other specs include a 4.67 inch WXGA (1280×768) LCD TFT display, a 13 MP rear and 1.3 MP front camera, with 16 GB of internal storage. All of which are squeezed into its 8.6 mm width. Needless to say, if true, the LS970 Eclipse looks like it will be a definite super phone. The source who leaked this information also said that the phone is expected to launch some time in the fourth quarter of 2012. Once I get something official on this bad boy, I think this will be the phone I’ll wait for. What about you?
