We have some good news for those of you who are on AT&T and have an off-contract iPhone with an account in good standing. You’ll soon be able to request for AT&T unlock your iPhone. As in, you’ll be able to use another carrier’s micro-SIM (like when you are traveling internationally) as long as that carrier works on the same frequencies as AT&T. According to Engadget, an AT&T spokesperson was able to confirm this “policy change concerning iPhones” and that it would indeed be rolled-out on Sunday.
