For those of you who have been eying the DROID RAZR and want a phone that will last all day long (and then some), you may want to wait until the DROID RAZR Maxx launches on Verizon. According to the latest leak (found on Motorola’s landing page for the phone) the phone is slated for a January 26th release date. However, this date was only seen on the “specs” page for the phone and has since been removed so don’t get your hopes up too high.
In case you didn’t know, the DROID RAZR Maxx is just about the same phone as the original except for its larger battery (3300 mAh compared to 1780 mAh) and slightly thicker profile (8.99mm compared to 7.1mm). Motorola claims that the phone will provide up to 21 hours of talk time, 15 hours of video, or 7 hours of web surfing. In other words, if you don’t want to use the techniques to save battery life all the time, this phone is for you.
